We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join an amazing team in Northern Arkansas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations ensuring highquality imaging and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist
- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal pelvic obstetric and vascular studies.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment ensuring it is in good working condition and calibrated appropriately.
- Obtain and review patient medical history and relevant clinical information to ensure accurate imaging.
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort during examinations.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy making preliminary assessments and documenting findings in patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in the development of patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech Qualifications:
- Associate s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARRT certification and certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 1 year of hire.
- Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred but recent graduates may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with patients and healthcare team members.
- CPR certification
