Roles and responsibilities

Supervising and following up on the performance of SMSA warehouses in all operational processes in the warehouse to ensure the best performance

Accountabilities

• Supervise the warehouse operation on a daily basis (receiving, replenishment, picking…etc. to ensure the proper maintenance of inventory, as well as control damage and product expiry.
• Control and track the warehouse’s , by reviewing invoice reports in order to ensure that expenses are within the limits of the approved budget with SMSA
• Monitor the perishable materials (packing material) usage by monitoring the usage and stock in order to be able to plan the monthly consumption, as well as control monthly damage.
• Investigate customer related issues and solve them on a timely manner by conducting root cause analyses and resolving them in order to ensure customer satisfaction,
• Monitor the work environment to ensure that health and safety related policies and procedures are properly implemented, and that tools and equipment are being properly used in order to ensure compliance to Nahdi’s health and safety regulations, SFDA, and ISO requirements as well as minimize workplace accidents and equipment breakdowns.
• Manage the performance of the assigned team through monitoring the KPIs achievement, coaching, following up any obstacles, provide performance feedback and conversations, coaching…etc to ensure the achievement of the set objectives.

Data Center Operations Management

Oversee the physical and virtual infrastructure in the data center.
Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Continuously monitor systems, applications, and hardware for potential failures or performance degradation.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues that affect uptime or service availability.
Ensure all backup systems and data recovery processes are regularly tested and functioning.
Capacity and Performance Planning

Monitor system performance metrics to ensure that data center resources are utilized efficiently.
Plan for capacity expansion based on growth forecasts and usage patterns, ensuring resources are available as needed.
Analyze historical data to predict potential bottlenecks and optimize resources.
Security and Compliance

Ensure the data center is secure both physically (e.g., access controls, surveillance) and virtually (e.g., firewall, data encryption).
Implement and maintain security measures and protocols to protect sensitive data.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and regulatory requirements.
