Your Role as a Food Tech Teacher:
- Deliver exciting and handson Food Technology lessons to KS3 & KS4.
- Teach students about nutrition food preparation and healthy eating.
- Encourage creativity and independence in cooking and meal planning.
- Support students with GCSE coursework and practical assessments.
- Work closely with colleagues to enhance the DT and Food Tech curriculum.
Who Were Looking For in a Food Tech Teacher:
Qualified Food Tech Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
A passion for food education nutrition and practical learning.
Excellent classroom management skills ensuring a productive learning environment.
Strong organisational skills helping students succeed in practical assessments.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
