An outstanding secondary school in Reading is looking for a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join their dynamic and innovative Arts department. Your Role as a Music Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Music lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Inspire students through practical musicmaking composition and performance.
- Lead and develop extracurricular music groups such as choirs bands and music ensembles.
- Assess student progress and support them with GCSE and ALevel music coursework and exams.
- Collaborate with the Arts department to develop an innovative curriculum that encourages creativity.
Who Were Looking For in a Music Teacher:
Qualified Music Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
Passion for music and a commitment to sharing that passion with students.
Strong performance and teaching skills with the ability to inspire creativity.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
