Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled OR RN with at least 2 years of recent experience in surgical settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing highquality perioperative care ensuring patient safety and collaborating with the surgical team for optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care during preoperative intraoperative and postoperative phases.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams with procedures ensuring sterile techniques and best practices.
- Monitor patients conditions and respond to any intraoperative complications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Insert Charting System.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists surgical techs and other healthcare professionals.
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
- BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and perioperative care
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
