Job Description
Role: Data Solutions Architect
Duration: 12 Months Contract Onsite
Location: San Francisco California
Looking for Local Consultants on W2
Responsibilities
Design implement and deploy data platforms at scale in both public and private clouds
Guide clients in establishing their data strategy including data governance data architecture and data quality management
Educate clients on modern technologies architectures and approaches for data & analytics
Drive discovery phases understand business problems and propose technical solutions to address them
Define development processes platforms and tools usage for data acquisition storage transformation and analysis
Develop roadmaps and implementation strategies around data & analytics initiatives
Review and audit existing solutions designs and system architecture
Create architecture documentation & presentations
Communicate proposed solutions to multiple levels of stakeholders from Clevel to engineering teams
Requirements
Extensive experience working in Solution Architecture with a background in data & analytics 10 years)
Handson designing developing & maintaining enterprisescale data platforms
Strong understanding of big data technologies and frameworks such as Databricks Snowflake Apache Spark Kafka AWS Glue AWS EMR AWS Redshift GCP Dataflow GCP BigQuery Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse
Highly skilled with big data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services Azure Cloud or Google Cloud
Proven history working with clientdriven largescale implementation projects
Background in programming and scripting languages such as Java Python or Scala
Knowledge of Data Science and Analytics (Machine Learning Recommendation Engines Search Personalization Deep Learning)
Deep understanding of Agile (Scrum) and common SDLC practices
Expert in data platform design development and maintenance
Comfortable with technology consulting technical team leading and team management
Exposure to design patterns refactoring concepts unit tests and CI/CD
Practical expertise in performance tuning optimization and bottleneck analysis
