Labor & Employment Attorney Chicago IL
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join its team in Chicago IL. Candidates must have 5 years of practice experience and an active Illinois Bar license.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
- Represent public and private employers in matters involving unfair labor practices employee misconduct discipline collective bargaining and labor arbitrations.
- Provide general employment counseling on a broad range of workplace issues including discrimination harassment retaliation and wage and hour disputes.
- Engage directly with clients demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to think on their feet.
- Exhibit an exceptional work ethic attention to detail initiative and motivation.
- Show a strong desire to grow a legal practice.
- Knowledge of police officer and firefighter disciplinary acts is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $170000 $200000 annually based on a fulltime work schedule. Actual compensation will depend on various factors including qualifications experience skill set training internal equity and market data. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
