Location:Owasso OK 74055
Pay Rate:$15.75/hr (Includes Shift Differential)
Shift:2nd Shift Monday Friday 3:00 PM 12:00 AM (Overtime as Needed)

Position Overview
We are seeking aBagger Operatorto join our production team in Owasso OK. This role is responsible foroperating and adjusting bagging machinery ensuring that cooked products are properly sealed datestamped and meet all quality standards before being boxed. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced food processing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independentlyoperate calibrate and adjust bagging machinesbased on product specifications.
- Set up bagging machines at the start of each shift making necessary adjustments for different product sizes.
- Inspect unsealed bags to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance.
- Conduct regularseal integrity checksby firmly testing bag seals at least twice per hour.
- Verify that the correctfilm and materialsare used according to company standards.
- Calibrate and cleanscale bucketsto ensure accurate weight measurements.
- Monitor and adjust bag weights using atouch screen monitorto maintain proper specifications.
- Ensure thatBest By dates and product stampsare printed clearly and correctly.
- Performroutine maintenance and troubleshootingon bagging machinery coordinating with the maintenance team as needed.
- Notify the supervisor or maintenance personnelimmediatelyregarding any deviations or mechanical issues.
- Maintain aclean and organized workspacewhile adhering to food safety and quality regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience operatingbagging machinery or other industrial equipmentin a food processing environment preferred.
- Knowledge offood safety protocols packaging quality standards and machine operation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensureproper packaging and labeling.
- Ability to work in afastpaced highly regulated environmentwhile maintaining efficiency.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods andlift 5080 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to work inwarm cold and refrigerated environments(temperatures as low as 40F to 45F).
- Effectivecommunication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is helpful but not required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must have fullrange of motionincluding bending twisting reaching pushing and pulling.
- Ability towalk and standfor long periods onpotentially slipperysurfaces due to production materials.
- Work incold storage environments40F to 45F) with exposure tostrong food odors(raw meat marinades).
- Must wearPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)including hair/beard nets smocks rubbersoled shoes hearing protection and hard hats.
- Due to high noise levelshearing protection is requiredin the work environment.
- Must havecorrected visionto accurately inspect product packaging.
