Project Manager Construction TX
A midstream construction company specializing in the construction of natural gas reciprocating compressor stations natural gas turbine compressor stations meter and pump stations associated with oil & gas industry currently has an opening in our corporate office located in TX for a Project Manager.
Project management responsibilities include the following:
Manage projects from the corporate office
Communicate with the customers project manager concerning all matters associated with their respective project (e.g. schedule onsite
issues extra work permitting etc.)
Collaborate with scheduling as necessary to develop review and maintain project schedules
Work closely with field supervision
Keep projects on track with the use of project controls
Take charge and complete other tasks associated with project management
Travel as needed
Other tasks associated with project management
Project manager skills include:
Excellent writing and communication skills for writing procedures and policies
Ability to take lead on a project
Proficient in Excel MS Project Word
Excellent skills at interpreting construction drawings
Ability to understand scope of work documents
Excellent time management & organizational skills
Ability to develop project specific plans as necessary
Ability to work in a team environment
Qualifications
Experience in constucting natural gas compressor stations
