JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Technician II
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
Perform inspections maintenance and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.
Perform complex aircraft inspections repairs and modifications with minimal supervision.
Ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection/documentation requirements.
Complete CMP cards work order signoffs and other paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain quality standards and specifications in all work performed.
Properly tag store and secure customer property and aircraft components.
Operate ground support equipment (power carts hydraulic mules tow tugs forklifts etc.).
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Provide training to less experienced technicians.
Protect customer property and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Properly dispose of waste fluids and apply Lean/6S initiatives to work areas.
Use and maintain companyprovided tools and equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.
Utilize the material tracking system to manage parts track squawks and charge labor to work orders.
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing including flight tests if needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience OR 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/largesize aircraft.
Valid Drivers License required.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations repair station processes quality control manuals and company procedures.
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
