Job Description

Job Title: DECAL Salesforce Solution Architect
Location: Atlanta Georgia (30334)

Job Type: Hybrid (Onsite: Tuesday to Thursday)

Position Overview:
The Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to work on a contract basis. This role will focus on the integration of Salesforce with Georgias Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Gateway helping streamline its grant management financial reporting and compliance tracking workflows. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and development particularly in statelevel system integrations and a solid understanding of government eligibility and grant management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement robust integration solutions between Salesforce and the IES Gateway to enable seamless data synchronization and automation.
  • Solution Architecture: Develop scalable endtoend Salesforce solutions that optimize the capabilities of IES Gateway for grant management and financial reporting.
  • System Integration: Create integration patterns using APIs middleware and ETL tools to establish secure and reliable data flows between Salesforce and statelevel systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure successful implementation of integration solutions ensuring alignment with both Salesforce and state system standards.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that all solutions adhere to state and federal security and compliance requirements including data protection and audit mechanisms.
  • Business Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical integration solutions.
  • Grant Management: Design and implement solutions to improve the grant processing financial reporting and compliance tracking capabilities leveraging the IES Gateway.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for integration components including architecture diagrams API specifications and security protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7 years of experience in Salesforce architecture and development roles.
    • 2 years of experience with government system integrations.
    • Proven experience with statelevel eligibility systems or similar government platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns.
    • Strong experience with API design web services and ETL processes.
    • Proficiency with integration technologies such as MuleSoft SOAP/REST APIs and middleware.
    • Indepth knowledge of government eligibility systems grant management and financial reporting workflows.

Optional Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Developer Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architect

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with government stakeholders.
  • Exceptional project management and documentation skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities to guide crossfunctional teams.
  • Analytical problemsolving approach to tackle complex integration challenges.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with statelevel system integrations.
  • Familiarity with federal grant management processes and requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies particularly in government projects.
  • Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce (CI/CD pipelines Gearset GitHub).

Work Location & Attendance Requirements:

  • Must be physically located in Georgia.
  • Onsite attendance required Tuesday to Thursday as per the managers discretion.
  • Mandatory inperson meetings including but not limited to All Hands Enterprise Applications and DECAL All Staff.
