Job Description
Job Title: Data Modeler (Health Domain)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop conceptual logical and physical data models for healthcare applications.
- Ensure data models align with industry standards such as HL7 FHIR ICD and HIPAA compliance.
- Work closely with business analysts data engineers and developers to define data requirements and relationships.
- Optimize database structures for performance scalability and data integrity.
- Implement and maintain data dictionaries metadata management and data governance policies.
- Support ETL processes data pipelines and data warehouse development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Perform data profiling data mapping and impact analysis for new and existing systems.
- Document data modeling best practices and provide guidance on database design principles.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in healthcare data management and analytics.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science or a related field.
- Experience in data modeling database design and data architecture.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio Erwin or Visio.
- Expertise in healthcare data standards including HL7 FHIR ICD CPT and SNOMED.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong SQL skills for query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Masters degree in Data Science Healthcare Informatics or a related field.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Cassandra or DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop Spark or Snowflake.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
