JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Physician Psychiatry (Adult Inpatient)

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Fridley MN

Service Setting: Hospital Acute Care

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing

Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults (18) excluding complex geriatric patients

Patient Volume/Census: 11 patients per day

Admissions: 7.5% admission rate with 5150 services

Rounding: Included

Case Mix: Adult inpatient psychiatry

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department: 11

Trauma Level: Adult IV

EMR System: Epic

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Minnesota license (IMLC accepted) or Willing to License

Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABMS or AOA)

Minimum Experience: 12 years of psychiatry experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide psychiatric inpatient care to adult patients

Conduct evaluations diagnoses and treatment planning

Round on patients and manage psychiatric care

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Utilize EMR system (Epic) for documentation

Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards
