Job Description
Position: Shopify Intermediate Developer
Working Hours: Monday to Friday Standard 9 AM 6 PM PH time (aligns with 5 PM PST).
Salary Range : Philippines:USD (for 3 YOE)

The client's company is a fully remote eCommerce software design and development company headquartered in second bedrooms and home offices across Canada. Since 2015 they've been creating highquality software for a range of clients evolving from bespoke SoftwareasaService consulting to offering Shopify templates that have shaped our reputation in the world of digital commerce. They believe in fostering direct relationships with their customers and we build our products in collaboration with them refining our approach iteratively like highperformance engines or grandma's cooking. Position Overview:
The Intermediate Developer will be responsible for:
- Delivering Exceptional User Experiences – Writing clean efficient and highperforming code to enhance Shopify themes.
- Fostering Seamless Collaboration – Working closely with designers and backend developers to bring designs to life.
- Cultivating Continuous Growth – Staying up to date with industry trends sharing knowledge and improving processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Delivering Exceptional User Experiences
- Develop and maintain Shopify themes to meet performance and usability standards.
- Implement responsive designs that function seamlessly across devices and platforms.
- Optimize store performance and ensure best practices for UI/UX implementation.
- Stay informed on the latest Shopify updates technologies and trends.
2. Fostering Seamless Collaboration
- Work closely with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional web pages.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
3. Cultivating Continuous Growth
- Identify skill gaps and pursue learning opportunities.
- Seek mentorship from senior developers while mentoring junior developers.
- Share industry best practices and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Conduct knowledgesharing sessions and contribute to team learning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Shopify theme development and customization.
- Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript Liquid HTML and CSS.
- Ability to work independently with minimal mentoring.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with designers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with Shopify CLI and theme development workflows.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
