This role involves delivering speech therapy services using researchbased strategies to support students in achieving their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals. Responsibilities include conducting initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language skills determining the necessity of therapy and identifying when services are no longer needed. The position also requires maintaining accurate and detailed records in compliance with district standards and ASHA s code of ethics including session documentation progress reports and annual IEP updates. Additionally active participation in the IEP process is essential providing insights into students current performance establishing measurable goals and recommending effective treatment plans for those requiring speech therapy services.

Requirements

ASHA certification preferred.
A masters degree or higher in SpeechLanguage Pathology is required.
Must hold an active Florida state license to practice SpeechLanguage Pathology.
