Job Description

As a Financial Controller Intern you will join Shippeos Finance team (4 members) and play a key role in supporting financial reporting monthly closings and budgeting. You will work closely with department directors to analyze financial data and contribute to process improvements.

Location: Paris (Hybrid: 12 days remote)
Reports to: Head of FP&A
Compensation: 1400 per month

Your responsibilities will include:

Monthly Closing & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports (data preparation accuracy checks etc.).
  • Verify payroll booking and analyze variances against the budget.
  • Prepare departmental reports participate in monthly reviews and support action plan followups.

Budget & Forecasting

  • Participate in the budget and/or forecasting process.

Process & Tool Optimization

  • Help structure finance team activities improve processes and optimize tools.

Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Provide financial insights and support management on nonrecurring topics.

Qualifications :

You are our next Shippian if you:

  • Are currently pursuing a Masters degree in Finance / Corporate Finance.

  • Have previous experience in audit or financial controlling.

  • Are fluent in English (C2 level) both written and verbal.

  • Have strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.

  • Can work independently and as part of a team.

  • Have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
