MW Partners is currently seeking a File Clerk to work for our client who is a leader in the media and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Uses alphabetical and numerical systems to organize paper and electronic records
- documents. As an example sort current existing hard copy files Active (Alpha/VIN) vs.
- Terms in Last 7 years (by Year & Alpha/VIN) vs. Terms 7 years (by Year)
- Create and maintain inventory list of files.
- Audit and organize paper files to be boxed and shipped to a digital file partner for scanning.
- Discards documents when required in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic office and administrative Microsoft Office software (Excel Word
- Outlook)
- Experience working in an office setting.
- Previous clerical experience
- Experience working with filekeeping software or cloud storage a plus.
- HR experience a plus
- Integrity discretion and respect for confidentiality and privacy
- A dedication to preserving information and materials.
- Adept typing wordprocessing and data entry skills
- Ability to read and understand a wide range of materials.
- Verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Research and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 10 15 pounds.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous clerical experience
- 2 years of experience
- Must be able to lift boxes (10 15lbs)
- Proficient in Excel
- Attention to detail strength for alphabetical sorting
