We are looking for motivated Sales Design Engineer to join our VPG Foil Resistors team for our West Coast territory!
This positions main goal is to generate new design wins by communicating to engineers at existing and new customers. They will help maintain existing business by making sure designs continue to use Foil Resistors. The Solutions Engineer must explore and hunt/find new customers and introduce them to Foil Resistor technology.
Applicant must reside in Western US territory
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly onsite and virtual customer visits
Generate and manage new business opportunities in target market segments
Cultivate relationships with design engineers and strategic accounts
Promote VPG Foil Resistor brands: Alpha Electronics VFR Powertron and APR
Develop strategic plans for market segment penetration
Perform comprehensive technical consultations and product presentations
Maintain detailed account reports and CRM documentation
Target market segments including: Data Center Fiber Optics ATE/Semiconductor EV Battery Management Infrastructure Space Satellite Communication Industrial Automation
The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual s unique set of knowledge skills education experience and geographic location as well as internal equity.

Requirements :
Must have:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BEng)
5 years of successful facetoface technical electronics sales experience.
New Business Development experience
OEM Experience
Proven track record in achieving designin objectives.
Applicant must reside in a Western US state
Strong technical knowledge of passive components preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of electronic component technologies.
Strategic analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Travel Expectations: up to 35% is required
