Job Description
Our client an international Software radio company specialized in highperformance software for wireless systems is in full expansion. They seek to incorporate anIT Operations Engineer in their office inBarcelona whowill be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of their IT systems including Linux servers network infrastructure and physical infrastructure.
Your main tasks include:
- Manage and maintain Linux servers (Debianbased Redhat etc.) including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain networking infrastructure including localfirewall DMZ NAS VPN.
- Develop and maintain Linux automation and scripting tools in Ansible Python Bash etc.
- Manage and maintain physical infrastructure including server racks and switches.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Physical inventory management.
- Perform physical infrastructure monitoring to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage and maintain containers (Docker Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies (Proxmox VMWare HyperV) with an emphasis on realtime processing.
- Perform basic administration on embedded systems (e.g. firmware upgrades).
- Tune highperformance servers for realtime processing
We are looking for someone who has...
- Good technical communication skills are essential.
- A strong foundation in Linux systems administration and network management is key.
- Previous experience with container orchestration and virtualization technologies is valued and experience with cloud environments is a plus.
- Candidates should be selfdriven and eager to learn more.
- Candidates must be authorized to work within the EU and fluent in English.
