Job Description
A MERN Stack Developer at DataNova in Ahmedabad is expected to design develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack: MongoDB Express.js React.js and Node.js. This hybrid role involves both frontend and backend development responsibilities.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- FrontEnd Development: Create responsive and userfriendly interfaces using React.js ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- BackEnd Development: Develop serverside logic and APIs with Node.js and Express.js to handle data processing and integration.
- Database Management: Design and manage databases using MongoDB ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including designers and product managers to deliver highquality products.
- Version Control: Utilize Git for version control to manage codebase changes effectively.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application functionality and performance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code APIs and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 13 years) in fullstack development using the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and related frontend technologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
