React Native Developer

As an mobile and frontend developer youll be a vital part of our team working together to build Donna our perfect AIsales assistant for field sales reps. Donna empowers them to focus on what they do best selling.

Expect to navigate a wide range of challenges including developing our mobile app that will be used as the main interaction point between our users and Donna.

Youll join our ambitious Donna team as one of the first hires. This means youll have the opportunity to be part of an earlystage startup and to learn from experienced serial entrepreneurs.

Tasks

A nonexhaustive list of features we could use your help with:

• Build pixelperfect buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Contribute to our web application (Remix / React) when needed.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

We believe in shipping fast to gather feedback quickly from our customers.

We like to keep things simple so we leverage as much as possible the services offered by key vendors.

Youll report directly to our CTO but youll work together with other departments (and customers) in detailing the requirements of features and make tradeoffs together in order to maximise value while minimising complexity.

Requirements

• Were looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience building mobile applications and you are fluent in react native.
• Experience in a startup or scaleup environment is a plus. It is important you can embrace the startup culture. While we try to keep technical debt in check there are times we need to ship quickly and make pragmatic tradeoffs.
• You are output driven and you are not afraid to critically evaluate data and results.
• Youre able to break down big initiatives into small tasks allowing for reprioritization as important opportunities arise.
• Personal growth is important to you and you have the ambition to thrive in a startup culture.
• We have global ambitions so fluency in English is a must.
• Ability to work with us in the Ghent office; this is not a remote position.
