Job Description

Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients physiological and psychological status including monitoring vital signs and interpreting data from medical equipment.

Care Planning: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient.

Medication Administration: Administer medications including titration of drug doses and monitor for therapeutic effects and side effects.

Emergency Response: Recognize changes in patient conditions promptly and initiate appropriate interventions including lifesaving measures when necessary.

Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about disease management treatment plans and selfcare strategies.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records documenting care provided patient responses and any changes in condition.

Supervision: Oversee nursing assistants and support staff within the PCU to ensure highquality patient care.
