Data Engineer Consultant
Location: Rijswijk The Netherlands

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Consultant who is passionate about transforming raw data into valuable insights. In this role you will be responsible for building data pipelines integrating data from various sources and preparing it for analytical or operational use.
What Will You Do
As a Data Engineer Consultant you will work on structuring and cleaning data to make it ready for analysis. You will develop data pipelines to consolidate information from different source systems. Additionally you will ensure that data is stored in a structured and efficient manner making it easily accessible for further processing. You will use tools such as Python Microsoft Azure SQL and ETL processes to carry out these tasks.
Who Are You
You have a background in data engineering and are familiar with both conceptual and dimensional data modeling. You have experience with cloud architectures such as Microsoft Azure and can work using Scrum Agile and DevOps methodologies. Technologies like Databricks Spark Structured Streaming and PySpark are well within your expertise. Moreover you are capable of translating user requirements into practical solutions and can tackle complex data challenges.
What Do You Bring
- Experience in data engineering and data modeling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Python MySQL and ETL processes
- Familiarity with Scrum Agile and DevOps methodologies
- A bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Proficiency in Dutch (English is a plus)
