For a leading company in the aerospace industry specializing in aircraft manufacturing aviation systems and aerospace components. With a commitment to innovation safety and quality they have become a trusted partner for aerospace giants aviation companies and government organizations worldwide.
As they continue to grow they are looking to hire an experienced General Manager to help steer our operations drive strategic growth and maintain our leadership in the aerospace sector.
Position Overview:
They are seeking a General Manager with a proven track record in the aerospace sector to oversee and manage daily operations.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency maintaining high standards of quality control optimizing supply chain management and driving business growth within the aerospace industry. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams and industry partners to uphold our reputation for excellence while expanding our global footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daytoday operations across critical departments such as production engineering logistics and customer service within the aerospace sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth increase operational efficiency and meet customer satisfaction goals.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations (FAA EASA) safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Manage and mentor senior leadership teams promoting a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement in aerospace operations.
- Conduct market analysis identify industry trends and implement strategies to stay competitive in the evolving aerospace marketplace.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients suppliers regulatory bodies and aerospace partners.
- Oversee the financial performance of the business including budgeting forecasting and maintaining profitability in the aerospace sector.
- Lead crisis management and risk mitigation strategies ensuring business continuity in a highly regulated and competitive industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management roles within the aerospace industry with proven success in aircraft manufacturing aviation systems or aerospace engineering.
- Indepth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes FAA regulations EASA compliance and quality control standards.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data conduct market analysis and implement growth strategies in the aerospace field.
- Exceptional leadership communication and problemsolving skills with experience leading crossfunctional teams.
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiency cost reduction and enhance profitability in the aerospace sector.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
- Fluency in English and French (additional languages are an asset).
