Job Description
About Us: At VION AI we leverage stateoftheart computer vision to reduce painstaking human labor tasks and to enhance the customer experience in the aviation industry. Our mission is to optimize aircraft turnarounds by employing real time highprecision AI analyzing processes at the aircraft door.
Your Role: As the machine learning lead youll focus on building and finetuning our cuttingedge embedded computer vision models that are being deployed in our client environments.
Tasks
- Develop deploy and finetune: Develop Python code for highperformance models for detection and multiobject tracking. Evaluate and monitor models for optimization.
- Manage the data pipeline: Oversee the data collection preprocessing and annotation processes to ensure highquality input for model training.
- Tackle hard unsolved problems: We are pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible in computer vision on edge devices. Our accuracy requirements are very high and you will be leading the efforts to reach them.
- Research and innovate: Impact the product and company strategy by researching new ideas and bringing your innovation power to the table.
- Build and mentor team: Build and lead a team of machine learning engineers.
Requirements
- Several years of machine learning and computer vision experience
- Several years of Python development experience
- Experience working in fastpaced startup environment or similar
- Enthusiasm about the Aviation industry is a plus
- Excellent communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills
- Leadership skills to lead junior colleagues
- Eligibility to work in Europe
