Position: Head of Global IT Services

Role Overview: The Head of Global IT Services will play a strategic leadership role within the IT department responsible for overseeing global IT operations including enduser support application management services and infrastructure services. This position is crucial to ensuring that IT services are delivered efficiently meeting business objectives and driving organizational success through the seamless integration of technology.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: - Provide expert strategic and technical guidance across global IT application and infrastructure operations.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and best practices to ensure operational excellence and continuous innovation.
- Manage daily operations of enduser support application management and infrastructure services to maintain high performance and service availability.
- Act as the key deputy to the CIO making highimpact IT decisions with authority.
- Represent IT leadership in board meetings advocating for technology strategies that drive business transformation and innovation.
- Shape and influence longterm technology decisions while integrating IT seamlessly across all business operations.
Strategy Development & Business Collaboration: - Develop and implement IT operational strategies that support organizational goals emphasizing scalability reliability and security of systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with key Corporate/Enabling functions to ensure global applications meet business needs.
- Lead largescale IT transformation efforts including system integrations during mergers acquisitions and global expansions.
- Promote business model innovation by strategically investing in technologies that enhance scalability and resilience.
Vendor Management: - Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the Global IT Services operating model ensuring exceptional customer service and cost optimization.
- Lead vendor negotiations to ensure that contracts are aligned with the companys operational requirements.
- Manage all global IT contracts ensuring compliance mitigating risks and driving value from strategic partnerships.
Service Delivery Optimization: - Take accountability for the Service Management framework ensuring efficient IT service delivery through a combination of inhouse and outsourced solutions.
- Evaluate and optimize IT service delivery models to achieve the ideal balance between costefficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure full transparency in the provisioning of IT services to support accurate recharging models across the organization.
Technology Enhancements and Deployments: - Oversee the evaluation selection and implementation of new technologies to improve operational performance and business outcomes.
Operational Management Framework: - Lead and own the operational management framework ensuring consistent and standardized processes across all IT teams.
- Oversee IT responses to incidents and outages minimizing disruptions to business activities and service delivery.
Team Leadership & Development: - Lead a diverse global team of IT professionals fostering a culture of continuous improvement innovation and collaboration.
- Promote professional development within the team ensuring technical excellence and a strong focus on security and user experience.
Budget & Cost Management: - Develop and manage the IT operations budget ensuring costeffectiveness and proper allocation of resources.
- Identify and implement technologydriven costsaving opportunities while maximizing ROI on IT investments.
Performance Metrics & Monitoring: - Define and track KPIs for IT operations to assess the effectiveness of service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance & Security: - Ensure IT operations comply with all relevant regulatory standards and security requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols to safeguard the organizations data and information systems.
- Establish a global IT risk management and compliance framework ensuring alignment with industry best practices and mitigating operational and cybersecurity risks.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Knowledge & Experience: - Minimum 15 years of experience in IT management focusing on application and infrastructure leadership.
- At least 15 years in a senior leadership role leading large culturally diverse global teams.
- Proven experience in sourcing and managing largescale IT contracts including Oracle and Microsoft agreements.
- Deep expertise in IT outsourcing models including managed services cloudbased solutions and onpremise infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of current IT trends and best practices in IT operations security and cloud technologies.
Certifications & Education: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Required certifications: Cloud and Infrastructure certifications ITIL Service Management Microsoft Azure Cloud and Network Certifications (e.g. CCNP CCIE).
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion and Microsoft technologies.
