Are you a passionate and innovative Teacher of Computer Science with a desire to inspire the next generation of digital creators and problemsolvers We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our cuttingedge Computer Science department in a forwardthinking secondary school in Hillingdon.

About the School:

About the Computer Science Department:

The Computer Science department is a collaborative and passionate team with a shared commitment to providing students with a highquality education in this rapidly evolving field. We offer a cuttingedge curriculum that covers a wide range of topics from programming and algorithms to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

About the Role:

  • Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including coding challenges robotics and game design.
  • Assess student progress set targets and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the departments curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Foster a love of Computer Science in students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Computer Science.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching Computer Science.
  • Has strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
