We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to ensure our stateoftheart printing equipment and machinery run smoothly maintaining our high standards of operational efficiency.
As a key member of our maintenance team youll play a vital role in supporting the upkeep of our printing equipment. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced maintenance engineer with a background in the printing industry though this is not essential. Your expertise will help us meet performance targets and maximise operational efficiency.
What youll be doing:
Dive into general maintenance tasks diagnose faults and troubleshoot any hiccups to keep our machinery humming smoothly.
Youll be working handinhand with our engineering and production teams ensuring theres always someone on hand to tackle machinery breakdowns.
We take safety seriously here! Youll help us adhere to and even improve our Health & Safety policies.
Be proactive with our Planned Preventative Maintenance System catching potential issues before they become problems.
Qualifications :
What youll need to succeed:
Youre a timeserved Mechanical Engineer with experience in pneumatics and hydraulics. Familiarity with machine shops (like using lathes millers and pillar drills) is a plus.
You bring a proactive cando attitude to the table. Your analytical and problemsolving skills are topnotch. Communication is key and youre great at both verbal and written exchanges.
Ideally youve got an HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or an apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering.
Comfortable with a flexible working approach this role is 37.5 hours per week 2 days 2 nights 4 on 4 off.
