Job Description
Job Title: Software QA Engineer Business Analysis Focus
Required Skills/Experience:
- Business Analysis Expertise:
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of business logic and rules particularly in retail assortment planning space optimization and sales forecasting.
Experience with data integration and analysis involving POS data Planogram data and syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen IR).
Ability to assess business impact and relevance of optimization decisions ensuring they align with strategic business goals.
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex business requirements and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Quality Assurance and Technical Proficiency:
Extensive experience in software development and testing.
Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test cases scenarios and validation reports.
High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages including Java Python SQL and XML.
Indepth understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g. JIRA Selenium Postman).
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice to Have):
Experience in retail analytics consumer behavior analysis or supply chain optimization.
Knowledge of assortment planning and space elasticity optimization.
Experience working with large datasets and complex data integration scenarios.
Proficiency in project management and tracking tools such as JIRA or ClickUp.
Experience with automated QA testing on Azure DevOps Test Plan.
Familiarity with Agile and iterative development methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
