Your Role as an Art Teacher:

Plan & Deliver Inspiring Art Lessons Teach a range of art techniques from traditional drawing and painting to digital arts and sculpture ensuring students engage with diverse artistic practices.
Encourage Creativity & SelfExpression Foster a creative openminded environment where students can express themselves and explore their artistic talents.
Support Artistic Development Provide individual feedback and guidance to help students refine their skills and boost their confidence in their work.
Foster a Positive & Inclusive Classroom Ensure that all students feel supported inspired and valued in a nurturing environment.
Monitor & Track Student Progress Regularly assess student work offer constructive feedback and support their growth through targeted interventions.
Contribute to ExtraCurricular Activities Lead art clubs exhibitions and events that extend learning beyond the classroom and allow students to showcase their work.

Who Were Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Art at secondary level.
Strong Passion for Art A deep commitment to teaching the subject with the ability to inspire and engage students at all levels.
Creative & Dynamic A creative teaching approach that encourages exploration and experimentation in the arts.
StudentCentered A focus on fostering student development providing support and celebrating individual achievements.
Collaborative & TeamOriented Strong communication skills and a willingness to work together with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for students.
An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
