Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Bloomfield NM 87413
Type: Direct Hire Permanent
Shift: Monday through Friday 35 hours per week (No Weekend Rotation)
Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Mix of ShortTerm and LongTerm Care Patients
We are a specialized recruitment firm focusing on the healthcare industry. Currently we are assisting one of our esteemed clients in Bloomfield NM in their search for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT).
Job Overview:Our client a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Bloomfield NM is looking for a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team. This is a fulltime permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule (35 hours per week) with no weekend rotation. As a PT you will support the delivery of exceptional physical therapy care to a diverse patient population including both shortterm and longterm care residents.
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver direct physical therapy services to patients based on individualized treatment plans.

Assist patients with exercises activities and modalities to improve mobility strength and overall physical function.

Observe patient progress and communicate any changes in condition or response to treatment to the interdisciplinary team.

Educate patients and families on exercises adaptive equipment and strategies for ongoing care at home.

Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and document treatment progress in accordance with facility guidelines.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

Adhere to patient safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during treatment sessions.

Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with industry practices and trends.

Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid PT license in the state of New Mexico.

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred but not required.

Strong knowledge of physical therapy treatment modalities and techniques.

Ability to work effectively with elderly patients especially those with chronic conditions.

Excellent communication skills both with patients and the healthcare team.

Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Fulltime position with a Monday to Friday schedule (35 hours per week).

No weekend rotation required.
