Job Description
Architecture plan of complex solutions in Java backend frameworks
Strategical input to management regarding technical topics
Security and quality driven mindset in the organization
Completes backend (Java) application development within a mixed development team
Coaching and supervising Java developers from technical aspects
Analyzing requirements keeping schedules contributing to team meetings troubleshooting development test and production issues across multiple environments and operating platforms
Activities include 3rd line support issue and incident tracking globally
Updates knowledge by researching new technologies and software products
Identifies and implements process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity.
Working together with Product Owners of different modules interaction with IT Architects and supporting all stakeholder in the realization of the future product design.
Mentoring medior and junior colleagues following their progress and consult technical challenges
Usage of modern systems like JIRA/Azure DevOps Continuous Integration for structuring the output and the collaboration with stakeholders based on an agile approach (SCRUM)
Qualifications :
Educational background: Bachelors / Masters degree in Economical Informatics Information Technology or Programming Mathematics OR equivalent working experiences
Technical Expertise: Solid experience in backend development technologies and a strong understanding of design patterns and microservices.
Proficiency in Tools: Handson experience with Java Spring Quarkus Kafka JPA SQL and Azure DevOps.
RESTful API Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Git Version Control: Strong experience in using Git for version control managing branches and collaborating in a team environment.
Agile Mindset: Proven experience with Agile methodologies particularly Scrum to contribute effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Communication: Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
Team Player: A collaborative spirit and a strong product mindset with a knack for thinking outside the box.
