About the Role
A mid to senior career Journeyman Plumber looking for a growth opportunity and great benefits in the Richland TriCities area. This role involves new construction plumbing including standard plumbing hydronic systems and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and technical documents to assess building needs and plumbing layouts
- Work with contractors and clients to plan and install plumbing systems
- Install assemble maintain and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Modify pipes by cutting threading and bending using specialized tools
- Secure piping with clamps screws brazing soldering and welding
- Install boilers water heaters toilets sinks and other plumbing fixtures
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs or replacements
- Locate and repair water line leaks
- Perform pressure tests to ensure systems are airtight and watertight
- Train new apprentices in plumbing techniques and best practices
- Create work reports and maintain project documentation
- Ensure all work adheres to state laws local building codes and regulations
Requirements
- Washington and/or Oregon Journeyman Plumber License (preferred)
- Experience in new construction plumbing hydronic systems and mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficient in pipe fitting welding soldering and fixture installation
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Ability to lift & move 75 lbs and work in various environments
