Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

To assist in coordinating recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance management, HR operations, and employee engagement in alignment with DP World’s objectives, while supporting employee counseling efforts.

Key Accountabilities:

Assist in the implementation of the People Department’s business plan.
Support documentation and coordination of staff increments and promotions.
Assist with recruitment processes, including preparing reports, documentation, and onboarding for new employees.
Provide assistance in orienting new hires on departmental activities and procedures.
Help maintain and update employee records.
Support the coordination of training reports and documentation.
Assist with internal communication within the People Department.
Provide support for any special HR projects or initiatives.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Observe department operations and assist with recommendations related to hiring, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, terminations, and performance management.
Help develop and update job descriptions in line with organizational needs.
Follow up on performance standards, assist in evaluations, and support personnel actions as required.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
Recruitment and Staffing
Job postings: Creating and posting job ads to attract qualified candidates.
Screening and interviewing: Reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates' suitability for roles.
Hiring and onboarding: Managing the hiring process, offering contracts, and overseeing employee orientation and training.
Employee Relations
Conflict resolution: Addressing conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
Employee engagement: Fostering a positive work environment and addressing concerns to ensure employee satisfaction and retention.
Compliance with labor laws: Ensuring the company adheres to labor laws and regulations regarding workplace policies and employee rights.
