Job Description
Youll be material tooling and process knowledge expert for die casting (optional stamping / plastic molding knowledge) and respective processes within MA purchasing organization
Youll cooperate and guide suppliers in their processes to overcome the technical / quality problems sustainable by using the principle of onsite onthespot.
Youll lead supplier escalations/ task forces related to technical and/or quality issues of delivered components within full project lifecycle (preserial and especially serial deliveries)
Youll do supplier enabling define preventive quality measures and application of quality measures at Supplier
Youll also support commercial buyers in projects with challenging technical demands in your commodity/material field
Youll monitoring & continuous improving on suppliers quality performance
High flexibility for travelling on demand is essential
Qualifications :
Education: University degree in related technical field or certain experience in relevant production process of die casting (optional stamping / plastic molding knowledge)
Working Experience: More than 5 years working experiences within technical / manufacturing environment preferable in Automotive Industry as a Process Engineer / Process Quality Engineer / Production Engineer or comparable function; Project Management; Experience with die casting (optional stamping / plastic molding knowledge)
Language: Good language skills in English (writing speaking negotiation) further languages skills are welcome.
Problem solving methods Quality tools (8D Method 5xWhy Ishikawa)
VDA 6.3 Lead Process Auditor will be considered as beneficial
6 Sigma knowledge preferred will be considered as beneficial
Material and process knowledge are Key
Experience on digital tools/platforms for data collection analyses and visualization will be considered as beneficial
High flexibility for travelling on demand is essential
