About the Role:
- Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5.
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources including improvisation devising and script work to develop students performance skills and confidence.
- Direct and produce school productions providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and work collaboratively.
- Assess student progress set targets and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the departments curriculum development and resource creation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
We are looking for:
- A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Drama.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
