About the Design & Technology Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students with engaging lessons and handson projects.
Responsibilities of the Design & Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver highquality Design & Technology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their practical skills in Design & Technology.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Design & Technology providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Design & Technology curriculum and departmental resources.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Design & Technology and incorporate new technologies into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Design & Technology teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Design & Technology.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Design & Technology and a commitment to inspiring students.
