About the Science Department:
The Science Department is a team of enthusiastic and dedicated educators each passionate about nurturing students curiosity and love for the subject. As a Science Teacher you will be supported by a collaborative team of specialists who value professional growth and innovation. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire the next generation of scientists.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Science to KS3 and KS4 students with the possibility of teaching ALevel (KS5) for the right candidate.
- Plan deliver and assess stimulating Science lessons that cater to all learning styles.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress offering tailored feedback to support their growth.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and the implementation of new teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with the department to create an engaging and positive learning environment for all students in your Science classes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in a relevant Science subject (Physics Chemistry or Biology).
- PGCE or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience working as a Science Teacher in a secondary school (including PGCE placements).
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
