SCIENCE TEACHER
A thriving secondary school in Sutton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their successful Science department. This is a fulltime permanent position offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and collaborative learning environment. The school need an excellent Science Teacher.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- Experienced in teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Experience teaching a specific science discipline (Biology Chemistry or Physics) to ALevel is desirable but not essential.
- Enthusiastic about science and able to engage students of all abilities.
- An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
- A team player who is willing to collaborate with colleagues.
- Committed to continuous professional development.
- A fantastic Science Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning preparing and delivering engaging and challenging Science lessons.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Regularly assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attainment.
- Creating a positive safe and inclusive classroom/laboratory environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Science department.
- Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment and materials.
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians.
- Adhering to all school safeguarding policies.The Science Teacher will undertake the above.
