Primary Class Teacher Innovative SEN School Enfield
Role: Primary Class Teacher
Nature: FullTime Permanent
Start: April 2025 or September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS SEN Allowance
A specialist SEN school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children who have a range of special educational needs providing them with a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to their individual needs.
Role Highlights:
- Fulltime permanent position at a wellrespected SEN school in Enfield
- Teach and support primaryaged students with a variety of needs including autism (ASC) speech and language difficulties and social emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
- Plan and deliver creative engaging and differentiated lessons suited to students individual learning styles
- Work closely with SEN support staff therapists and parents to ensure a holistic approach to learning
- Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment that encourages confidence independence and achievement
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a primary setting preferably within an SEN environment
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques
- A patient adaptable and caring approach to supporting students with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS check required
