This is a fulltime fixedterm position covering the period from April to July 2025. What Were Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with a passion for Chemistry and a commitment to providing highquality education. The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent). Consider adding: Or have significant experience teaching Chemistry in an independent school setting as private schools sometimes have more flexibility on QTS.
• Experienced in teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and ideally Key Stage 5 (ALevel). If ALevel is essential state this clearly.
• Passionate about Chemistry and able to inspire students of all abilities.
• An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
• Committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of science.
• A collaborative team player who is willing to contribute to the wider school community.
• Dedicated to their own professional development.
• An inspiring Chemistry Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners including those with high potential.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum review.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
