Job Description
Job Title: Software QA Analyst
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web mobile and desktop applications.
- Identify document and track bugs and defects using tracking tools (e.g. Jira TestRail).
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure software meets business and user requirements.
- Conduct functional regression integration and performance testing.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards best practices and industry guidelines.
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Provide detailed reports on test results defects and quality metrics.
- Experience in software QA testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Appium).
- Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira TestRail Azure DevOps).
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
