PeopleSoft Integration Developer

We are seeking an expertlevel PeopleSoft Integration Developer with a deep understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Integration Broker and REST/SOAP web services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing developing and optimizing realtime and batch integrations within the PeopleSoft ecosystem. They will be responsible for enabling seamless data exchange between PeopleSoft and thirdparty enterprise applications while ensuring security scalability and performance.

While expertise in Boomi integration is not required candidates with experience in Boomi or other integration middleware platforms will be preferred.

PeopleSoft Integration Development:

Design develop and maintain realtime and batch integrations between PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and external applications.

Develop and configure PeopleSoft Integration Broker including Service Operations Message Queues and Handlers.

Build and consume RESTful and SOAPbased web services within PeopleSoft.

Develop PeopleCodebased integrations and optimize Application Engine programs for data exchange.

Ensure data security error handling logging and monitoring for integration processes.

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Expertise:

Work extensively with modules such as:

Admissions & Recruitment

Student Records

Financial Aid

Student Financials

Campus Community

Design and implement APIbased integrations to support student and faculty services.

Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures web service errors and message queue bottlenecks.

Conduct performance tuning of integrations using SQL PeopleCode and Application Engine.

Implement best practices for error handling retry mechanisms and data validation.

Provide Production support for critical integrations and optimize system performance.

Preferred Experience with Boomi (Optional but Preferred):

Design and develop Boomi integration workflows to connect PeopleSoft with cloudbased and onpremise applications.

Leverage Boomi Atomsphere for middlewarebased integrations if applicable.

Experience with Boomi connectors for REST SOAP and databases is a plus.

Security Compliance & Documentation:

Implement OAuth SSL and API authentication mechanisms for secure data exchange.

Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory policies for data protection.

Maintain detailed technical documentation for integration design configurations and troubleshooting.

Required Skills:

PeopleSoft & Integration Skills:

10 years of PeopleSoft development experience with a strong focus on integration technologies.

Expertise in PeopleSoft Integration Broker including Service Operations Routing and Handlers.

Proficiency in developing and consuming REST and SOAP Web Services using PeopleSoft.

Strong experience in PeopleCode Application Engine Component Interfaces XML and JSON.

Deep understanding of Application Messaging Asynchronous/Synchronous Messaging and Queues.

Experience working with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS 9.2) and understanding of its data structures.

Database & Performance Optimization:

Proficiency in SQL PL/SQL and database performance tuning for PeopleSoft integrations.

Experience working with Oracle Database SQL Server or other RDBMS platforms.

Security & API Standards:

Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 JWT SSL and API tokenbased authentication.

Understanding of security best practices for web services and enterprise integrations.

Preferred but Not Required:

Experience with Dell Boomi or other middleware platforms for API management and ETL workflows.

Experience integrating PeopleSoft with ERP CRM Identity Management (IAM) or Cloud Applications.

Exposure to AWS Azure or Google Cloud for hosting integrations.

Knowledge of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) for integrationrelated patches.

Soft Skills & Work Approach:

Strong problemsolving and debugging skills with attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Business Analysts DBAs and Project Managers.

Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Experience working in Agile development environments.
