Essential Functions:
The Director provides operational oversight to program supervisors and is jointly responsible for the development management and clinical integrity of all client access and engagement client navigation clinical assessment intake and care coordination programs and functions. The Director works closely with the Executive Director of client access and engagement other clinical and supervisory staff as well as clients and the community to help inform and address needs make recommendations and support the implementation of strategic initiatives for client access and engagement services. The Director manages the reporting requirements for the client intake/assessment/client engagement programs in collaboration with other Directors Executive Directors CQI and allied departments.
Daily Operation and Maintenance of client intake/assessment/access and engagement services:
Support and ensure consistency in program design of client access and engagement services program application (integrity) service delivery and outcome measurement.
Oversee the hiring and training of staff in client intake/assessment/access and engagement departments ensuring staff are supported to provide efficient and effective client access and engagement services.
In collaboration with the CQI department Executive Director of Client Access and Engagement services Clinical Supervisors clinical staff and clients develop implement and maintain outcometracking and program evaluation activities to enhance Continuous Quality Improvement functions for all service delivery and seamless operational status.
Direct service oversight:
Ensure fidelity to evidencebased practices regarding assessment and triage of traumainformed service provision across the lifespan.
Provide consultation to Executive Directors COO and other Supervisors requisite to coordinate services community education efforts and clinical practice.
In collaboration with CQI Directors and Supervisors lead the utilization of client contact reports to support direct care staff in meeting MOU requirements.
Crisis Intervention:
Work collaboratively with Clinical Services and Mobile Crisis staff to ensure services meet the clients level of care.
Perform continual oncall duties to support and coordinate crisis intervention and stabilization efforts to all Access and Engagement Intake and Assessment professional staff to assist the clients in deescalating a crisis and developing a safety assessment with the behavior management plan.
Provide consultation to all staff regarding crisis intervention skills including assessment safety planning activities and other emergency response considerations.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required to Perform the Job:
Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of individuals and families; and Supporting program management and development
Counseling and theories of intervention that include Psychosocial functioning Assessment skills and intervention strategies.
Mobilizing individual and/or family strengths; and the role of social economic and environmental factors in the development and resolution of personal and family problems.
Working with hard to hardtoreach or resistant individuals and families across the lifespan
Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
Master s Degree in the social services field.
Must possess one of the following licenses: LPCC LCSW LMFT or any other independent practitioner status and current license accepted by the State of New Mexico for the provision of counseling or therapy and the supervision of counselors or clinical social workers.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in human services and experience working with adults populations including SUD SED/SMI and Veterans.
Minimum of five (5) year s experience of clinical supervision
