Job Description
We are seeking an experienced (Heavy Duty) Supervisor and strong experience in Heavy Duty machinery with Heavy Duty certification to oversee 34 mechanics and operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our facility.
MustHave: This role requires a strong understanding of HeavyDuty Equipment such as cranes tractors and trucks. Leadership skills a thorough understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
The Senior HeavyDuty Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards optimizing workflows and ensuring highquality service delivery.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations and coordinate activities among various departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate heavy equipment including cranes and tractortrailers as needed.
- Perform handson tasks such as heavy lifting engine repairs tire service and maintenance using hand tools.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Fabricate components and solder connections as required for repairs.
- Train and mentor 34 mechanics on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels of tools and materials necessary for operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in heavy equipment operation specifically cranes and tractortrailers diesel trucks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and performing mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting on complex machinery.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and soldering techniques is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
