Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Optimize and support cellbased assays across diverse endpoint technologies
- Utilize semiautomated liquid handling and other laboratory instrumentation as needed
- Support specialized and routine cell culture techniques
- Perform data analysis and documentation of experimental findings and assay protocols
- Comply with all organizational laboratory safety requirements
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- A degree in Pharmacology Biology or a related Bioscience discipline with either 2 years experience for a BS degree or 1 years experience for an MS degree preferably in a drug discovery setting.
- Experience and understanding of cellbased assay techniques for screening and/or assessment of pharmacological endpoints
- Handson laboratory research experience including assay execution for platebased assays
- Solid data analysis and problemsolving skills with familiarity with standard scientific data analysis software
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Software: MS office suite ELN (Electronic labnotebook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medium & highthroughput screening formats screening technologies and laboratory automation
- Handson experience working with primary or stem cellderived cells
- Operation of liquid handling platforms (Agilent Hamilton and/or Biomek) ECHO acoustic liquid handling instruments and various multilabel plate readers
Additional Information :
Position is Full Time Monday Friday 8am5pm with overtime as needed. Although a remote position candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PA are encouraged to apply.
