I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Education Agency requires the services of 1 Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Education Agency.
We are looking for a talented ASP.NET Core Developer with expertise in Power BI to join our team and contribute to exciting projects for Special Education funded applications which also integrate into other applications int the agency to drive business intelligence and web development forward.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/ Preferred Experience 8 Required Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and C#. 8 Required Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React 8 Required Experience with SQL Server and database design. 8 Required Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools (e.g. xUnit NUnit Selenium) 4 Required Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. 3 Required Strong experience with Power BI including data modeling and report/dashboard creation. 3 Required Proficiency in data analysis and transformation using Power Query 3 Required Understanding of data integration and ETL processes. 3 Required Understanding of Azure SQL Database and its features. 4 Preferred Familiarity with Angular CLI Angular Material and RxJS 3 Preferred Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.

Job Description:
- Develop maintain and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Core.
- Design and implement data models and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Design develop and implement solutions in the Microsoft technology including C# Visual Studio Sql Server (SSMS).
- Develop and maintain Web APIs using .net Core and should have understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Design and maintain DB Schemas and proficient in SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework Core for ORMbased database operations.
- Experience with TypeScript CSS Javascript and jQuery
- Experience in writing integration tests for APIs and frontend applications as well as unit tests.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
