Mixed Veterinary Surgeon Maternity Cover (Mullingar Co. Westmeath)
Were seeking a passionate and skilled Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to cover a maternity leave starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and supportive practice in the heart of the Irish midlands.
About the Role:
This fulltime temporary position offers a diverse caseload split approximately 70% small animal and 30% large animal.
- Small Animal: Engage in general first opinion practice including routine surgeries (spays castrations lump removals etc.) diagnostics and emergency care.
- Large Animal: Conduct farm calls with a focus on calving and sections. No TB testing required.
Salary: Up to 60000 commensurate with experience.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm. OOH is shared on a rota basis: 1 night per week and 1 in 4 weekends.

Applicant Requirements:
- Registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI) and eligible to work in Ireland.
- Competent in basic routine small animal surgeries (spays castrations lump removals etc.).
- Competent in large animal calving and sections.
- All experience levels considered.
