Job Description
Your mission
LeaseTeq aims to become the leading auto finance ecosystem. The key enabler is a powerful digital platform that offers high automation and integration.
As a CTO
youre reporting directly to the CEO and you will define ensure that our technology strategy aligns with business objectives fosters innovation and scales effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:
Technology Vision & Strategy
- Define and execute the overall technology vision ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop longterm technology roadmaps balancing shortterm product needs with longterm architectural sustainability.
- Develop a cohesive API strategy to ensure seamless integration across internal and external systems.
- Foster a culture of innovation experimentation and continual improvement through the strategic adoption of emerging technologies (AI automation etc.).
Technical Architecture & Scalability
- Own the companys technical architecture making key decisions on frameworks platforms and infrastructure to support scalability flexibility and business growth.
- Ensure highperformance systems and architecture that scale with increasing demand and new features balancing technical debt with modernization.
- Develop and oversee a robust infrastructure that guarantees the reliability performance and security of LeaseTeqs live digital platform.
Platform & Vendor Evaluation
- Evaluate and approve technical platforms vendors and thirdparty solutions ensuring they meet the companys technical security and scalability requirements.
- Build strategic partnerships with vendors and industry leaders ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the companys technology vision.
- Oversee external partnerships to leverage expertise and innovation from the market.
Product Implementation Delivery & Maintenance
- Lead the technical implementation and delivery of products collaborating closely with the product team to ensure feasibility security and scalability.
- Oversee the engineering teams responsible for the development deployment and maintenance of all technology products ensuring timely and successful product launches.
- Maintain high standards of system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring maintenance and rapid incident resolution.
Live Infrastructure & Performance
- Own the availability performance and scalability of the live infrastructure ensuring minimal downtime and rapid response to issues.
- Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring systems to ensure continuous performance and availability of all digital services.
- Lead initiatives to ensure the longterm reliability and scalability of LeaseTeqs infrastructure continually improving system performance.
Security Compliance & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain bestinclass cybersecurity practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g. GDPR DORA).
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate technologyrelated risks.
- Ensure that all thirdparty integrations meet the companys security compliance and performance standards.
Engineering Culture & Development Processes
- Establish and enforce best practices for software development security and DevOps.
- Lead and mentor a geographically distributed IT and engineering team promoting a culture of excellence innovation and continuous learning.
- Implement and refine development processes leveraging Agile (e.g. SCRUM eXtreme Programming (XP)) DevOps and CI/CD practices to optimize productivity and delivery speed.
- Track and measure engineering performance metrics to drive continual improvements in software quality and development efficiency.
Technology Budget & Resource Management
- Own the technology budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize business value.
- Conduct costbenefit analyses of new technology investments providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for costsaving and operational efficiency without compromising service quality or security.
Your profile
Experience:
- Strategic thinker with visionary approach to technology and innovation.
- Startup experience especially in building a B2B and B2C SaaS platform.
- Handson experience in architecting and implementing core systems with the ability to make foundational technical decisions.
- Ability to develop and drive a SaaS strategy and to align all core processes towards growth targets / paramount tech experience.
- Strong leadership communication and collaboration skills with experience managing geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to rapidly scale an organization and get aligned with diverse stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in (BPMN 2.0) process modelling.
- Strong technical but also business process understanding in the automotive and/or auto finance environment would be a benefit.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. A Masters degree is preferred.
Communication & Language:
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; German is a big plus.
