Job Description
Join TOMRA Food as a Data Scientist specialising in deep learning and computer vision. In this role you will help lead the business on a journey in deep learning and data science. You will drive innovation by developing testing and implementing cuttingedge deep learning and computer vision algorithms. Your primary focus will be enhancing realtime food sorting performance through advanced algorithms while also developing predictive models for machine reliability predictive maintenance and anomaly detection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test and implement deep learning and computer vision algorithms for realtime food sorting performance.
- Build predictive models and algorithms for machine reliability predictive maintenance and anomaly detection.
- Analyse and explore large and complex data sets using data analytics techniques and statistical modelling.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand business objectives and develop datadriven solutions.
- Utilise and optimise realtime data processing and data visualisation tools.
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Implement MLOps to help build test and deploy machine learning models effectively.
Qualifications :
About You:
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science Engineering or Mathematics.
- Proven proficiency with machinelearning tools application programming languages and frameworks (Python SQL)
- Strong experience with deep learning computer vision and data analytics techniques.
- Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify the stories behind the patterns.
- Experience with code revision control like GIT.
- Experience with MLOps tools such as Azure ML or ClearML.
- Passion for prototyping new products and solutions with potential industrytransforming capabilities.
- Stay updated on emerging AI developments and their potential impact the food sorting industry
- Strong communication skills selfmotivated creative and collaborative.
